Chamblee to get $45M mixed-use project

The city of Chamblee and developer Cocke Finkelstein Inc. — in conjunction with Macauley + Schmit and Origin Capital Partners — held a groundbreaking for the new Olmsted Chamblee project.

According to Brett Oliver, director of development with the company, the $45 million project will be a powerful instigator for positive change for Chamblee. It will be a 283-unit, live-work community adjacent to the Chamblee MARTA station that will become a southern gateway to the city’s historic downtown, complete with a “Chamblee” rooftop sign like Pike’s Place Market in Seattle, a news release stated.
